Zodiac Birthday Candle

A personalised zodiac birthday candle made for one day of the year: theirs. Every date from 1 January to 31 December, plus 29 February, has its own original title, and their birth year adds their Chinese zodiac. The front shows their Western star sign and their Chinese zodiac (element and animal, for example Metal Dragon), each with four character traits, plus their name under "Personalised for", their birth date and a title written for that exact day. The back tells their zodiac story and sets out their ruling planet, Western and Chinese elements, ruling number, tarot card and the signs they're most compatible with. A personalised birthdate candle, made for their birthday

Most zodiac gifts stop at the star sign. This one goes to the day. Someone born on 14 July gets "The Heart-led Steward"; someone born on 5 July gets "The Heart-led Explorer". Both are Cancers, and each label is written for its own date. Leap-day birthdays on 29 February get a label of their own too.

1. Choose their birthday and birth year: we work out their star sign from the date and their Chinese zodiac from the year. If the Sun changed signs on their birthday, or they were born close to Lunar New Year, we ask you to choose.
2. Add their name (up to 20 characters): it's printed under "Personalised for", in script or classic lettering.
3. Pick the scent: 12 fragrances, poured into our Large cream jar.

Always burn within sight, on a heat-safe surface away from drafts. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time and stop when 1cm of wax remains.

On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar (about 3–4 hours) so it doesn’t tunnel. Trim the wick to about 5mm before every burn for a cleaner flame.

Wax: 100% soy wax — no paraffin. Fragrance: candle-grade fragrance oils used within IFRA guidelines, with no essential oils. Wick: cotton-based and lead-free.

Why no essential oils? Candles are a high-heat application, and many essential oils have low flash points and are hard to formulate consistently in wax — so we use candle-grade fragrance oils made for burning.
