Most zodiac gifts stop at the star sign. This one goes to the day. Someone born on 14 July gets "The Lantern Heart"; someone born on 5 July gets "The Moonlit Strategist". Both are Cancers, and both labels are written for their own date. Leap-day birthdays on 29 February get a label of their own too.

What is a birthdate candle?
It's a personalised candle whose label is written for one birthday. Ours shows the date, the star sign and its constellation, a title and short story for that exact day, three traits, the ruling planet, element, birthstone and birth flower, plus the recipient's name.
Does every birthday get a different label?
Yes. There are 366 original labels, one for every date of the year including 29 February. No two dates share the same title or story.
What is the label made of?
We print every Birthdate Story label on a water-resistant vinyl label, so the name, date and story stay crisp and readable.
Which star sign goes on the label if they were born on a cusp?
We use the standard tropical zodiac dates (for example, Aries is 21 March to 19 April). Cusp birthdays get the sign for their date, and their story mentions the neighbouring sign.
Can I put their name on the candle?
Yes. Add a name of up to 25 characters and it is printed in the "Poured for" line. If you leave it blank, the label reads "Poured for you".
Is there a different scent for every date?
No. The label is unique to the date, and you choose the fragrance from our 10 signature scents, so it smells the way they love.
What's in the fragrance?
Our candle-grade fragrance oils are phthalate-free and contain no essential oils. As with any candle, burn it in a well-ventilated room, never leave it unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Is lid engraving included?
Yes, free. Choose "Add a lid" (a $3 value, free) and then "Lid engraving" (a $10 value, free), and add your message or logo. You'll see it on the live lid preview before you order.
Is the astrology on the label a prediction?
No. The label celebrates traditional Western astrology associations and birth-month customs in a warm, personal way. It's written to make someone feel seen on their birthday, not to predict anything.

Candle care
Always burn within sight, on a heat-safe surface away from drafts. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time and stop when 1cm of wax remains.
On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar (about 3–4 hours) so it doesn’t tunnel. Trim the wick to about 5mm before every burn for a cleaner flame.
What it’s made of
Wax: 100% soy wax — no paraffin. Fragrance: candle-grade fragrance oils used within IFRA guidelines, with no essential oils. Wick: cotton-based and lead-free.
Why no essential oils? Candles are a high-heat application, and many essential oils have low flash points and are hard to formulate consistently in wax — so we use candle-grade fragrance oils made for burning.
