Always burn within sight, on a heat-safe surface away from drafts. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time and stop when 1cm of wax remains.

On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar (about 3–4 hours) so it doesn’t tunnel. Trim the wick to about 5mm before every burn for a cleaner flame.

Wax: 100% soy wax — no paraffin. Fragrance: candle-grade fragrance oils used within IFRA guidelines, with no essential oils. Wick: cotton-based and lead-free.

Why no essential oils? Candles are a high-heat application, and many essential oils have low flash points and are hard to formulate consistently in wax — so we use candle-grade fragrance oils made for burning.

The My Favourite Child Bought Me This Candle is a hand-poured soy candle from Scent Nation Australia. Welcome to Scent Nation Australia, your one-stop destination for all your gift-giving needs.

It's a favourite gift for colleagues, mums — perfect for birthdays, Christmas, engagements.

This candle is hand-poured in NSW, Australia from 100% natural soy wax, with a lead-free cotton wick and phthalate-free fragrance oils.

Soy wax burns cleanly and slowly, so you get a long-lasting candle. Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn for the longest, most even burn.

The fragrance oils are phthalate-free and contain no essential oils (verified by Safety Data Sheets), and the wick is lead-free cotton — always burn in a well-ventilated space away from pets.
