Refund Policy

Scent Nation Australia does not accept exchanges, refunds, or returns unless an item is damaged or faulty. If a product is faulty or damaged please contact us immediately along with photos of the package, your shipping label & the product/s detailing the incident or damage. 

Under NO circumstances do we accept refunds, returns, or exchanges for a product or candle due to a change of mind or a fragrance not being up to a personal strength standard. Fragrance strength standards may vary from person to person and personal expectations are not manageable and do not constitute a refund.

We manufacture and sell fragranced candles to a high standard and quality, the strength of each fragrance is dependent on the fragrance notes and recipe and may vary in strength from scent to scent. We have provided many resources, guides & sizing specifications on our website for you to determine if it is the right purchase for you. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@scentnationaustralia.com  You will need to provide photographic evidence along with a short report of the issue. We may require the item to be returned for investigation. If this is necessary we will send you a return shipping label along with details for where to send the item. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted/ exchanged/ refunded or returned back.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Change of mind

We will not accept exchange, refund, or return for a change of mind. Each candle is listed on our website with the relevant specifications including size, weight & scent. Please ensure you have read the product description before making a purchase.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Due to the nature of our products we do not accept returns if the product has been used, or tampered with in any way. 

Refunds due to Shipping/ Delivery issues

Scent Nation Australia engages the services of 3rd party providers to perform deliveries. We do not use our own in-house delivery drivers, therefore delivery issues must be taken up with the shipping provider.

If an item has been damaged or lost in transit a refund will be issued once we have put through a claim with the provider and an investigation has been made. 

Delayed deliveries or unhappiness with delivery service is not grounds for a refund.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund back to you.

Please ensure you follow the warning label located on the bottom of the candle or refer to our candle care page listed on this website. Failure to follow these warnings may result in hazard, fire, or injury.
