Presents From the Dog: questions
What are presents from the dog?
'Presents from the dog' are humorous, personalised gifts a dog owner gives on behalf of their dog — usually for a partner, parent, or family member. Scent Nation's range includes 28 funny dog candles personalised with your dog's name and breed, hand-poured in Australia from pet-safe soy wax. 24–48 hour fast dispatch (2–5 business days from Black Friday to Christmas) from Sydney.
What's a funny gift from the dog for Mother's Day or birthday?
Our 'Smells like the opposite of a Dog Fart' candle is the bestseller — personalised with your dog's breed and name. Hand-poured in NSW, pet-safe (so it's safe to burn around the actual dog), free lid engraving (Large + lid) included. $39.99 for the medium 225g, $49.99 for the large 285g with bigger engraving.
Are these candles safe to burn around the dog they're about?
Yes. Every Scent Nation candle is pet-safe — 100% Australian soy wax, non-toxic fragrance oils, lead-free cotton wicks, no paraffin. We make these specifically for households with pets, so the dog the gift is from can hang around while it burns.
How do I order a personalised dog candle in Australia?
Pick your dog's breed from the products above, select the scent your recipient prefers, type your dog's name into the engraving field at checkout, and submit. Australia-wide shipping in 2–5 business days; engraving is included in dispatch. Order today for 24–48 hour dispatch (2–5 business days from Black Friday to Christmas) from our NSW studio.

Everything you need to know about Scent Nation's personalised soy candles: ingredients, engraving, delivery and care.
What makes Scent Nation candles a premium choice for home fragrance?
Scent Nation candles are hand-poured in NSW, Australia using 100% natural, sustainable soy wax. Formulated with maximum fragrance loads (Triple Scented) and clean, lead-free cotton wicks, they offer a clean burn time of over 40 hours (Medium 225g) or over 50 hours (Large 285g) with no paraffin. We offer a stunning range of personalised, funny, and designer-inspired scents to suit every style.
Can I burn Scent Nation candles around pets?
We don’t use essential oils in our fragrances, but any open flame needs care around pets: burn within sight and out of reach of paws and tails. Ventilate the room; birds are especially sensitive.
What candle safety precautions should I take in my home?
To burn your candle safely, always light it in a well-ventilated area with adequate airflow. Ensure the candle is placed on a heat-resistant, stable surface situated high enough in the room so that children, pets, or sweeping paws cannot reach or knock it over. Always trim the cotton wick to 5mm before lighting.
